Tips on losing weight

  • avoid hitting Starbucks daily and getting a grande mocha that is full of sugar.

  • get a fitbit or another device that keeps tracks of your steps/calorie burn for the day.

  • get a minimum of 10 thousand steps in a day. it really isn’t that hard to do – especially if you have a fitbit. get off your ass and walk. 😉

  • take the stairs instead of the escalator.

  • drink lots of water – stay away from sodas – even the diet ones.  the diet ones are full of chemicals that can cause you to gain weight – even though it says zero calories. 

  • eat real food.  stay away from heavily processed foods like fast food and those with chemical based ingredients.

  • eat breakfast, lunch and dinner every day! Don’t skip meals. 

  • eat 2 snacks a day.

  • make sure your meals are 40% healthy carbs, 40% lean protein and 20% healthy fats. yes, you read right, eat carbs.  the good carbs!

  • workout!

  • get an accountability partner or join an accountability group.
